Realized I made a mistake after filing

I e-filed my 2021 return and it's been accepted.  I found a document (letter 6475) I didn't realize I had, which makes me believe I have an incorrect figure in my return.

Should I amend the return now?  Or should I wait to see what the IRS does with it?

The IRS will take several weeks to take care of the situation. They will send a letter explaining what they did.

IRS will rely on the letter(s) they sent you about Advavce Child Tax Credit and Stimulus payment.
