Hello,
Any official word yet ?
@GardenGuy_Vic I paid about $130. And filed head of household with one dependent. And I have the turbo card.
Girl I will Be pissed to cause a few yrs ago I used turbo tax and the irs said the account and routing numbers were incorrect and sent me a check 3weeks later and once I received it there was no one who would cash I mean no one it was a cashiers check and the closest bank was 3hrs and 24min all the way in Ohio I was furious but after a week of going from place to place I finally got it cashed I was outraged and really mad. This is definitely my last yr of using this trash if they still out money first then we have to to wait for them to send it back to us.
Direct from Turbotax website:
"The IRS is sending stimulus payments to eligible taxpayers who filed a tax return in either 2019 or 2018 and chose direct deposit, and is depositing some stimulus payments onto prepaid debit cards for filers that chose to receive their refund through that method. For the majority of prepaid debit card holders there is nothing more to do as the stimulus payment will be deposited to their account. For any TurboTax customer that no longer has access to their debit card, we encourage them to visit https://turbodebitcard.intuit.com. We're committed to helping our customers get access to their stimulus payment as fast as possible."
Well I got $1200 in my checking account today. It should have been $3400. I filed with turbo tax and have the card. So how did they get it to my bank tonight?
how were you supposed to get $3400 ?
Married filing joint. 2400
2 kids under 17. 1000
total =3400
I'm being childish? I'm sorry, don't think I asked your opinion?! But since y'all wanna say what you want, and crucify me for saying what I want, let's get it... First of all, what did I say that was wrong or false or childish? I'll wait🙌... Second of all, WHO HASN'T FILED THEIR TAXES YET?! pretty much the people who make a ton and don't qualify for the stimulus anyway... Your sentence, 'to help people who still have to file, not already paying customers,' is an ignorant statement. All us ALREADY PAYING CUSTOMERS want is a clear answer. Guess since they've already collected our fees this year, we aren't afforded unshady answers.🤔 If that is your argument, you should just stay off here 🤦 you sound super dense.
Any update on where our stimulus check will be?
THIS IS NOT A SOLID ANSWER. ITS MORE CONFUSING THAN SOLVING. JUST MAKES MORE QUESTIONS AND UNCLEAR ANSWERS. FRUSTRATING
If you file married filing jointly you are to get $2400 ( 1200 for each adult / Husband and wife /. Then if you have kids under 17 you are to get $500 each. So, 1200 husband, 1200 wife, 500 child one, 500 child two. That all comes out to $3400.
If we got the refund advance is it going to delay the direct deposit?
This answers nothing. Causes more confusion and annoyance.
First I got screwed by being forced to use this garbage card after applying for the loan. That was BS! Now I may not get my stimulus deposited because of it. I will never use Turbo Tax again.
And you gotta love these people putting these prewritten responses to everyone, while Chime and even Emerald Card users are all getting their money, we are sitting here getting the run around. Won't use TT again....
