Will my stimulus check be direct deposited onto my TurboTax card?

Oh ok so someone from TurboTax has told you that you will receive the stimulus check on the card? Bc I just got off the phone with them and the girl specifically said “ma’am we don’t know anything until the IRS lets us know”.

First off I did not borrow against my refund because their"website gave me a false approved" when I sent them the screen shot they told me there was nothing they could do.  Then in turn they would let me change it back to my bank account also their website messed up my address and they wouldn't fix that either. Ny state fixed it for me but the federal part said 6 weeks it's been 3 months. Because of their mess up. This did the final straw for me and no clear answer specifically from them. He block people got their on the emerald card why is turbo different. Just saying. And yeah some people are out of a job so they do need it. I'm an essential worker and my hours got cut for this but no one can help apparently. Even unemployment.

Yes dear I was told this morning however u got ya DD for ur taxes will definitely be the way you get it for the stimulus and again u can read this on the sbgta website as well

Ok that’s what I was thinking...I have the TurboTax card and the doubting and bank account number is on my TurboTax paperwork as the DD info...but when I called TurboTax she said they wasn’t for sure. I’m fine either way bc it’s free money but I was just confused as to what was going on.

It is super confusing and you have people posting half of the info and getting people who may really really need this super upset and people don't need anything extra to worry about right now if i can help people with a piece of mind I'll do all the research I can

Re-read that whole thing. IF you deduct your fees from your refund your return first goes to SBTPG (don’t believe me- go back and check where your direct deposit tax refund came from on your banking app). The IRS sends your refund to SBTPG (which you agreed to). Turbo tax fees come out then SBTPG deposits the money in your account. You don’t have an account with SBTPG. So if they try and again deposit your stimulus money where you agreed your refund was to be deposited 1st (SBTPG) you won’t have an account there to deposit the funds into.

I use the turbo tax card as my bank. My pay checks are deposited on there and all. I used to think it was a great idea but now I am regretting ever using turbo tax. Guess I'll find a new way to file next year.. after 10 years ...

ALL EVERYONE CAN TO IS WAIT AND HOPE FOR THE BEST .... if you have already filed a 2019 return there is nothing you can do until something happens no matter how much you wish and pray for things to go faster.

If you get the DD in the next 2 weeks then you are done.  Be happy.

If you do not get the DD by the time the IRS finally opens the promised portal then you can update  your information at that time and/or check on the status of your money.

To help everyone check on the status of their payments, the IRS is building a second new tool expected to be available for use by April 17. Get My Payment will provide people with the status of their payment, including the date their payment is scheduled to be deposited into their bank account or mailed to them.

An additional feature on Get My Payment will allow eligible people a chance to provide their bank account information so they can receive their payment more quickly rather than waiting for a paper check. This feature will be unavailable if the Economic Impact Payment has already been scheduled for delivery.

On your tax papers which is what the IRS is using has your DD info for your turbo card... Okay stay with me here, you DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT have a routing or account number for sbgta you have a customer number. I have read my tax returns many times And there are no other bank account numbers listed. And again sbgta stated on the link YOU shared in the RARE CHANCE it gets sent to them they will work with it's to fix it.

how is turbo tax coming up with all these extra ways that they can help people get their stimulus checks and writing all these pointless blogs but can't give your current users any information on how we receive our stimulus payments. I'm so disappointed with turbo tax I'm sure they will loose customers over this stimulus payment situation, if you can receive everything else on your green dot /turbo card whats the big deal about a stimulus payments also the reps we pay 70 bucks for throughout the year no nothing about taxes have no info or answers about anything I'm sorry but they are worthless.
