Will my stimulus check be direct deposited onto my TurboTax card?

@Heathd82  I talked to turbo today and they said it didn’t matter if you had fees taken out you should still get it in the card

So perhaps Turbo Tax and the IRS literally have no clue what they are doing, despite the fact they are essentially in bed with each other?

I also spoke with turbo tax today and they told me the same thing however your taxes were deposited, regardless of fees, is how it will be deposited for stimulus

I was on hold for all of 30 seconds so idk where all this on hold for a long time came from

I’m not going to be any extra help in answering this question but just wanted to inform those that didn’t know that the irs will be launching a tool that will allow people to check and track their payments..here’s the link.. https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/treasury-irs-launch-new-tool-to-help-non-filers-register-for-economic-i...

scroll to bottom of page. The tool is set to be ready Friday I think.

I used a tt card last year also and have not received my payment.

Do you have to sign up for text messages from Turbo?

I was told this morning that fees and advances don't matter the info the IRS has for your bank account matches your turbo card direct deposit info I've checked my own many timeS to make sure

@chris16 Yes, and I don't - very possible its on its way and just don't get that alert
