State refund

My ex-husband filed his state return. And it has been over the 12 weeks and it's still saying it's been recieved and still processing. He is behind in his child support like $43,000. I have talked to my case worker and she said that DHR has put in for me to recieve it. How will I know if and when will I recieve it? And why it's taking so long? His 12 weeks was up on July 15th.

How do you even know he has a refund ?   People who owe get wise and plan to have a balance due to keep the refunds from being grabbed.  And many states are taking longer to process a return so you will just have to wait if there is a refund for you to get... who knows he may be in arrears with them or the IRS both of which takes precedence over your claim.
