I have yet to receive my refund. How do you file a SAMS and what is it? What information do you need?
I filed a SAMS. It is more to bring attention to unknown delays the IRS might not be aware of. At this point, these delays are known is what the SAMs advocate told me. I'm at 10 wks with no refund, no correspondence from the IRS and no true answers to when refunds will be processed.
Currently appears to be anywhere from 14 wk to 16 wks from accepted date, after 10 wks you can call IRS and see if yours has an further information.

Systematic Adovacy Management System on the IRS website. You just type out your issue and they will email you a reference number. Not sure if it will help as a person I spoke to on the phone told me they don't file reports using the reference number.
I have been told 10 weeks, something about the pandemic, and owing. However, none of these apply. So not sure if the IRS rep isn't just spilling out a written statement to everyone.
SAMS emailed me that they were working the issue with the IRS regarding the Form 5695 which was filed for the solar credit.
Very frustrating to everyone to get the run around and no real information.
It is frustrating that at 14 to 16 weeks, you may still not have a refund. We should already have received correspondence if there is an issue.
I guess they get around the interest by saying 60 days from the last day to file taxes instead of when you filed. I am sure we will all get correspondence and still be waiting.
I tried that and all I got was a system error. She wouldn't file any reports. I did file a SAMS and tried to give her that reference number. She said they don't file reports.

I agree. I may file another one, too. I have called at least 3 times without them giving me any real information and refusing to assist further.

I was told the same thing without any real resolution or idea of when it would be solved.
Yeah, too bad there isn't something else we can do. They basically have our money.

I just read on another thread that a lady was told not to expect a refund until July.
