I needed to add a small investment sale. It allowed me to make the amendment to my federal, which had already been accepted. I have never filed my Indiana state taxes yet, but the program is treating it as an amendment also. The problem is that it won't let me amend state and says to wait and buy the Indiana Pro series when it comes out. 1- I shouldn't have to buy another piece of software for this. It's simply a very minimal increase of my AGI and should be easy, very slight calculations for state. 2- It shouldn't even be an 'amendment', since I've not submitted state, at all, yet. I guess I could go in and delete all forms related to the amendment, but then it will grab wrong numbers when I go to complete my taxes next year and I won't have the amendment changes saved electronically. Maybe this is the only fix, however. Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you did not file your state tax return, you do not file an amended state return, even if, as in your case, you amended your federal return. Try going in and deleting the Indiana state amendment forms only. If you want to delete an individual form, please follow these instructions:

Thank you, Mary K. It wouldn't let me delete ones specific to state, so I deleted the fed ones and then it let me remove it from state as well. Appreciate you taking the time to help me, thanks!
