Printing tip for tax return showing light, hard to read text (may be hard for IRS to accurately scan in)

I printed my Turbotax 2021 tax returns and noticed the print quality was light and not very clear to read. I believe that the IRS would have a tough time accurately scanning my return into their computer system. I tried changing several settings in the Windows 11 printer settings for my printer (Brother MFC-J895DW inkjet) and had no improvement with my printout tests. My solution was to download (if you don't already have it) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app which is free from Microsoft Store. I opened my .PDF tax return file with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I selected print icon and then selected the Print in grayscale (black and white) box. The printed return showed noticeably better print quality (darker type and letters filled in) with this change. I mailed my returns confident that they would be totally legible for IRS processing.
