You can always change your withholding so that you do not have to wait for a refund at tax time.

I received a letter yesterday notifying me that they are AUDITiNG me. I was an early filer accepted in the “ test batch “ so I’d really recommend for future filers things wait until tax season actually begins before filing. The chances of an audit appear greater if your an early filer. My tax refund may be held up for several months now. Good luck to the rest of you 😉

What does that audit mean

It means you have to send in all the documents for EIC/ACTC and filing status. Suppose to take a month to process.

I had no updates on WMR. I received a letter stating I was being audited. With all of that, I still woke up this morning with my direct deposit. I was an early filer accepted on January 19th and had the path act message until this morning and woke up with money in my account!!

I filed and was accepted 1/19 went through TurboTax had my fees taken out my refund..got approved for 2/22 haven't seen any money yet
