No record of the amended tax return in the IRS system after mailing it 5 months ago. How to check the status?

I printed, signed, and mailed my amended federal tax return in January. The mail tracking system shows that it was delivered. However, after 5 months, it still shows as "Your amended return information is currently unavailable in this application." every time I check the status on the IRS website.

Does someone know any other way to check the status of an amended tax return?

how did you manage to file an amended return in January? how and when was the original 2020 return filed?

The amended tax return is for 2019.  My original 2019 tax was filed and accepted in April 2020.
