My tax refund said it was sent to my bank on February 22nd and I have not yet received it

Yes, if the IRS says your refund was deposited in your bank account on a particular day, you need to contact your bank to see what happened to it. 

Sometimes banks will return a deposit to the IRS if the name on the account doesn't match the tax return. 

If your bank rejected the deposit, the refund will bounce back to the IRS and they will issue the refund again as a mailed check, which will be sent to the address on your tax return.
