My STATE Taxes were incorrectly calculated in Turbo Tax. Received letter stating credit of $467 for 2024. How do I get check instead?

We rarely end up owing state taxes, so this credit will likely be applied ever year going forward.  We would much rather settle the balance via cash refund.  Oddly, TurboTax initially showed that we would be getting this refund, but then it disappeared later in the process of completing our taxes.  Software bug?

Call your state because it controls what happens with the refund not Turbotax.
