My federal return was accepted on 3/7/19, but still has not been approved by the IRS. I owed taxes and paid my tax bill upon e-filing. Should I be concerned that my return has not been approved?

Where are you checking? Approved means a refund is approved. You are not getting a refund, so it will never say that.

If the IRS changes something, they will send you a letter.
