My BD is 11/21. My first SS check was supposed to be 12/23. I didn't get it till 1/24. Which year does it count in?

My BD is 11/21. My first SS check was supposed to be 12/23. I didn't get it till 1/24. Which year does it count in?

If you didn’t receive a form from social security with that payment already it will be included when you receive your 2024 form in 2025 to be reported on your 2024 return.
