Make sure in the federal section (My Info or Personal Information) your resident state is listed as Ohio and there are no other states of residency listed.   Then go back through your Ohio state return and review your answers.   The first questions on the state return ask about your county and school district residency.   If you made a typo there, you will get messages like the one you received.   

The screenshot below is the federal residency question in TurboTax Online.   In desktop, check Personal Information to make sure you only have one state of residency listed.   Then check the beginning questions of your OH state return.   Another place residency days may be asked is in the Sales Tax interview, so if you took the sales tax deduction, you may want to review your answers in that section as well.   Revisit Sales Tax
