It's been 21 days and still no refund

Hi Everyone,

I see a lot of people with the same issue and wanted to let you guys know what I have found out so far. So my refund was supposed to come between the 11th - 21st. I put my wrong AGI when submitting it and it was rejected, I went to the IRS website to get the correct number and then it was accepted by the IRS. Because it was first rejected they automatically put me in a group (Fraud watch) that requires me to now verify my identity on IDVerify.irs.gov. The only issue with this is that they just sent a letter yesterday and you need information on the letter in order to verify your identity, so now I have to wait for the letter. I remember when I got my information from the IRS website they sent me a letter maybe about 3 -5 days later, thanking me for using the online service. I found it very weird that I have to verify my identity after getting all the information needed from them which they record. Hopefully, this letter comes as fast as the other letter did and I am able to verify my identity yet again. The IRS knows what they are doing because they waited until the day I was supposed to get a refund to send the letter.
