Incorrect 1099-NEC

I received a 1099-NEC which is incorrect but I know the correct amount. Should I input the correct amount that I know or still input the incorrect amount printed on the 1099-NEC I received? Btw I am not an employee for this organization so I receive a 1099-NEC and not a W-2.

Incorrect 1099-NEC

Is the amount reported on your 1099-NEC more than the actual amount received? Did you try to ask for a corrected 1099-NEC form?
