If I filed a federal and state amended, and only got one return back 4 weeks ago. Where’s my second?

This is my first time filing and I wasn’t sure if maybe I messed them up again. But it says accepted on here but when I go to track the amended return it says processing still.

No, you didn't mess up. Since the returns were both accepted and the missing refund is in processing, this means you have done what you need to do.

State and federal returns are processed by different agencies. The IRS tries to issue amended refunds in six weeks or less, but sometimes it takes longer. 

The time frame for a state amended return varies widely from state to state. Some states take just two weeks and others take six months.
