If I electronically amended my federal taxes, do I also have to amend my state taxes?

I somehow missed adding my 2441 form for dependent care. I added it to my amended federal return, but do I also need to amend my state return?

Per the state of North Dakota, you must file an amended state return within 90 days after filing your amended federal return to report changes made to your federal income tax return.
