If for some reason my taxes weren’t completely filed in 2021 and I just realized that this year, is there an easy way to take care of it?

I remember going through the entire process, but I must have missed a step or something because that year is blank. Also, I always get a return, I don’t owe so am I in trouble or does it even matter?

if the return is complete, pay whatever fees print it out, and mail it.

if not finished you'll need to buy the 2021 desktop app to complete and then mail it.

other sites might sell it for less but beware that some sites will sell you malware 

the return can not be efiled

attach withholding forms

mail federal and state, if applicable, separately

use a method where you can either track it or get a notification of delivery.
