I used one bank account for direct deposit for two people. I have receiver my state tax, federal tax and federal tax of my friend btu not his state tax. Any reason?

What would be the reason why his state tax is not on my bank account? Or they sent it through mail instead? I have tried calling irs but i cannot get a hold of them.

It is not wise to call the IRS about a state refund. Try the state and it should be your friend who calls.
