I owed taxes on my state return this year. When filing I checked the option to pay out of my account, it still has not been taken out. Will I meet April 15 deadline?

Does the date i file and say I will pay count as my payment before the deadline? Or should I cancel payment through turbotax and try to pay directly through the site

Look at your saved documents (you may have to go back and save all worksheets) for a page called Federal Information Worksheet. This will have the date you selected for direct debit. If you didn't select a date, then the automatic date is 4/15/24.
