I owe IRS and State taxes, can I wait and pay my taxes on April 15th? What do I need to do?

You can e-file the return and indicate on the federal and state returns that you will pay the taxes due by check, which will give you more time to pay the balance due and e-file the returns. When you e-file the return Turbo Tax will allow you to print out the payment vouchers for the federal and the state and then you can mail those in with your payment when you are ready (just make sure you have those mailed in on or before 4/15).
