I only want to amend my Fed 2014, not my state taxes...why do I have to pay for those to be downloaded during an amendment????

Once you amend your Federal return then your state need to be amended as well.  Everything from the federal goes transfers over to state.  Customer service information is below:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3300041  If you paid twice for state then you can call to get a refund .

$182.11...why should we have to pay again for state?
