2016 return from your Turbotax Online account, please follow the instructions
below.

Because you are a TurboTax Deluxe
customer, if you need to contact us, please see ink at the bottom.
When Logged into your TurboTax
Online account: Select My TurboTax, then Click on My Tax
Timeline. After you are in the correct tax year; Under Some
Things You Can Do (below your 2016 return statuses), click on Add
a State (you will not prepare a state return, this just gets you back into
the return to download your amended return)
Then:
- Once you are in your return click on My Account
- Click on Print Center to view/print/download

You Must Paper File an amendment, per the IRS you cannot E-file an Amended Return IRS instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040x.pdf
- Before paper filing your amended return make sure the original has been accepted First.
- If your return is Rejected you wont amend it, you will fix and file it again.
