Once you have started the Amended return,

Click on Search
Type "Capital Loss Carryover" in the search window and click Enter
Click on "Jump to Capital Loss Carryover"
Answer "Yes" to "Did you have investment losses you couldn't claim in 2017?"
Indicate "Yes, I know my capital loss carryover amounts."
Enter your capital loss carryover amounts from 2017
