I mailed my return about a week ago, how can I verify that the refund is being processed ? Also, do they still send it to my bank or do they change it to a mailed check

It takes about 4 weeks for you to be able to track your mailed return on the IRS web site. It takes about 6 weeks for your return to be processed. If you had direct deposit instructions on your tax return, your refund will be direct deposited to your bank. Here is the IRS link to track your return: https://www.irs.gov/refunds
