I'm Having Trouble Sending in my State Tax Return

It says in the instructions that I need to, "Attach renewal of benefit applications and supporting documents for
the Missouri Department of Social Services." along with my tax return, but I don't have access to my renewal of benefit for MOHealth since they only send the renewal document at the anniversary of when you got approved for it.

I tried logging into my MOHealth account and I don't have access to this form. I tried calling and they would not send me the form. Not sure what else to do?

You can call, go online, or mail the form to renew your social services. See Medicaid Annual Renewals. You can delete the form in your MO tax return and then e-file. It is not required to go with your tax return, it is an option.

If you are using:

  • Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
  •  Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:
    1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button.
    2. Click on FORMS.
    3. Locate the form you want to delete.
    4. Click on the form name.
    5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.

So just to clarify, I can submit my state tax return without the MOHealth renewal documents or any other social service documents?

Yes, just be sure to delete the forms from your tax return. Those are not part of your tax return, just a benefit we offer. Once you are able to get the forms you need, you can file directly with them. Somebody needs to help you get back into your account or tell you what to do. Good luck!
