I’m filing as a dependent however my CA form is not counting my personal deduction ($144) did I miss a step or mark something incorrectly? How can I fix this?

If you've indicated that someone else can claim you as a dependent on their tax return, there's nothing to correct. You're not entitled to a personal exemption.

See Line 7 – Personal Exemptions in the Instructions for Form 540.

Does Turbotax know how to calculate part year resident deductions of Maryland? My return was adjusted down significantly because TT did not make adjustments.
