You do not need to amend your return. The IRS will match the SSN. Since your return has been accepted you are fine. On next year's tax return, you can correct her spelling of her last name.

I started to add my college age daughter as a dependant, but then realized I do not want to claim her. How do I remove her? Turbo Tax will not let me finish.
