I just filed my taxes. Federal return says e-filed but state md return says pending, why is that?

The IRS and State of Maryland process returns on different schedules. Pending status means that your return has been sent to Maryland but they have not accepted it yet.

I filed both my state and fed taxes bc my local tax box was "wrong". They both were received 4/8/25, I got my state within weeks, but I am still waiting on my fed. Why??
