I haven't received my refund how long does it take?

The IRS to process and release refunds is within 21 calendar days after the e-filed return has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. To track your federal refund, look on the IRS Where's My Refund site. Please refer to the information below. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3288568  

If it has been longer than 21 days from the date your return was accepted, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. There is a high call volume.   

When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.  

Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.  

Then Press 1   

Then Press 3  

Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.
