I have received accepted federal and state emails but we owed federal and it has not been taken out and I specified to take out on 4/12. Should I be worried?

No, don't worry. That date you specified just means that the withdrawal will not take place earlier than 4/12. The IRS won't debit the funds until your return is fully processed.
