This is how to amend a 2016 return.
Once you have initiated the amend process, you can start entering your W2-Gs. You can get to the right (write??) spot by typing "W2-G" in the Search box, then selecting Jump to W2-G.
Your gambling losses are deducted on Schedule A. Use the same procedure as above: type "gambling losses" in the Search box, then select Jump to gambling losses.
If you haven't done so already, please enter all the other deductible expenses you can think of. They're all listed under Federal taxes > Deductions & Credits. If your itemized deductions exceed the standard deduction, TurboTax will automatically pick itemized, unless you instruct it otherwise.
You will have to mail your return to the IRS. If you now owe, you will need to send a check or other payment, even if your original return said you were getting a refund. The IRS will treat these as two separate returns.
