I had to do some additional verification of my identity, so I have no idea how long my refund has been delayed

They had to send me a number in the mail and I had to input it on the irs website I did that. So now I’m just waiting my transcripts for 2024 are still blank. How long will this take?

If you had to verify your Identity with the IRS, and successfully verified, it usually takes about 9 weeks for processing, and it takes between 2-3 weeks for you to see any kind of update on the website. This is just an estimate of processing timeframe based on what the IRS provides. This information is typically given to you once you verify your Identity.
