Has anyone received a Direct Deposit Date (DDD) later than 2/22?

If you didn't get a date today you will get one next Saturday most likely and the date will be for the following wednesday

My friends DDD date was 2/22 and she got hers the evening before on 2/21.  She filed beginning of January.  I filed 01/27 and barely yesterday got a DDD of 02/27.  Everyone keep checking IRS website, hang in there.

Nope still checking though. Lol. Even though I know it's Sunday and unlikely that the IRS would post before tomorrow.

I've done alot of research on the days and times of dd and what I've found is in all previous years dd are sent on Monday and paper checks sent on fridays. We all know banks keep our refund for as long as they can right? But places likes netspend and turbotax have prepaid cards where once the irs sends "payment instructions" they deposit funds to your prepaid card. Now a bank can receive the instructions but not deposit it until it actually clears. Which is why irs always says call your bank, blah blah blah. I had an update on Friday saying the funds are scheduled to be BY 2/27/19 (Hint, that's a Wednesday, two days after instructions are sent to financial institutions). Assuming you chose turbotax prepaid card or a financial institution that will release funds to you when instructions are sent, I'd check tomorrow 🙂 at least I'm praying this is true & I didnt get through college not knowing how to do research for my business degree lol good luck everyone!
