I entered a wrong number on my state taxes (number of months I rented) and now owe the state. If my form is accepted will I still be able to amend it?

Yes. Wait until your state return has been accepted or rejected. If it is rejected you can just make the changes and resubmit the return. If the return is accepted you can amend your state return by following the steps in this article: I need to amend my state return
