I created an amended 1040 form and do not need it. Has the IRS been notified about the amended form, or do I just let my original form through & ignore the amended form?

Your amended return won't do anything unless you were to print it out and mail it into the IRS. However, next year when you go to access your information, it will be messy. You can remove your current amendment by following the directions below:
