I chose direct deposit for both returns. My mass state tracker says a Check is issued for tomorrow. Why is it a check and not direct deposit?

Unfortunately, we are unable to understand why States make the decision to do what they do.  This is done on a State by State basis and TurboTax will not be able to know why.  There is a possibility you could still get a direct deposit.   On a positive note, if it is mailed tomorrow you should receive in less than a week, and if actually direct deposited, even sooner.
