I cashed out my IRA in 2016 and I can't find the information. Do I need to show that on this return or can I add it to my 2017 tax return?

No, you cannot file it on your 2017 tax return.  If you cannot locate the 1099-R that was mailed to you then you should contact the IRA administrator (bank or broker/dealer) and obtain a replacement copy.  You should not file your tax return without reporting the information on the 1099-R or you will under report your income and end up paying additional interest and penalties.
