I amended my return and got an email saying it was accepted and it was gonna be mailed to me, but I never chose the mail option

when I first did it I chose the direct deposit option, but when I amended it they didnt't give me any options, how can I be sure of how I'll receive it? I can't receive it through mail and couldn't find anywhere that shows the answer to this question, can someone help me please.
