Is there an error message provided with that code?   If so, it might help someone help you.

And is the *.tax2021 data file you are trying to open located on an external drive, or is it on your main hard drive of your computer as well as the 2021 desktop software?   Are you using a Mac or PC?

If you are using Windows, is the tax data file located anywhere other then the default location, which is the Documents\TurboTax folder?    In other words, did you ever move the file to another location?  If so,  It might be a file permissions problem.  Move it back to the Documents\TurboTax folder (or whatever original location you used when you prepared the 2021 file) and then try to open it.
