No, you can't withdraw an extension if you submitted it for e-file, but it doesn't cause any harm. Filing an extension doesn't increase your chances for audit and isn't held against you in any way.

If you are ready to file before April 15, just go ahead and do so.

Is this an error? I completed an amended return for Tax Year 2021 using TurboTax online. I received a rejection but it mentions "open your *2023* amended tax return."
