How do I receive my refund if I didn't give a bank account number

I never gave a bank account number of any kind. Just my address.  So wondering how Im.going to get both federal and state refunds

I figured a mailed check was the answer. I seen online that sometimes turbo tax sends you a prepaid debit card with the refund on it and when you receive it you need to activate it.
