You get the amounts for W-2 boxes 3 and 5 from the W-2 that you get from your employer. You cannot file your tax return until you get your W-2. The information on your W-2 might be different from your pay stubs.

You can't file a tax return now anyway. The IRS will not start accepting 2024 tax returns until sometime in mid to late January. They have not yet announced a date when filing will start.
