Hello! I filed my tax returns and I gave an account that apparently is now closed. How can I change the account where the state and the IRS can transfer my refund?

The IRS will automatically mail a paper check 3-4 weeks after the deposit attempt fails.  You may be able to call the IRS and cancel the direct deposit so that they mail a check immediately, but for security reasons, they will not accept a request to change bank accounts.
