Hello, I already got my tax return back but my employer just submitted my union dues, can I submit these or is it too late?

I am in NYS and they were around $800.

You can amend your tax return if necessary.  Union Dues are an itemized deduction and if you did not itemize it will most likely not change your refund amount.

If you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.” You must file a separate Form 1040-X for each tax return you are amending.
