Get your date via phone

You can call the IRS and get your date via phone. My friend did this, and her status still says "return received...being processed". A lot of people's returns are set to hit on the 26th 🙂 

You can call [phone number removed] ext. 652 to get your date, but I called 3x within a 20min period and couldn't get through due to high call volume (it doesn't ask you to hold, it will hang up and you will have to try again later). If you do get through, expect a holding time.
