Form 8582

I have had rental income every year and have not claimed the QBI deduction.  My husband also files a Schedule C and usually has losses (only 1 years with income).  Turbo Tax did not create form 8582 prior to 2021, but for 2021 & 2022 a Form 8582 was included with my return, which I don't understand since it reported only my rental income (there were no losses to carryforward or report).  TurboTax is not creating the Form 8582 for 2023, which seems correct.  Is there something I am missing about why Form 8582 was created and filed for 2021 & 2022?  I don't see that I answered any of the questions for Schedule E any differently in those years.  Thank you.

Form 8582

You may need to review prior year Forms 8582 to see what activities are reported for those years. It may be that the form calculations determined that you had no reportable loss but was included for that purpose.
