Filing an amended return

I just read the posts about filing an amended return and I received the same message about his ssn number being locked.  My question is since I originally e filed it so all of my banking information prints out.  Should I erase that or trust that it won't be compromised since I now have to mail it in?

You can redact the banking information since direct deposit or debit is not available for mailed amended returns.
